   The Shana Foundation is a public charity to educate the public & health care professionals about the dangers, warning signs, symptoms & treatment protocol of bacterial meningitis. Bacterial Meningitis is a fatal infection that can be transmitted person to person. The Shana Foundation runs an awareness program that is committed to strategically hanging bacterial meningitis treatment protocol plaques in hospital emergency rooms.

These events reach thousands of young people and their families. Honored for her work, Founder and Director Madeline Wasserman was recently honored by the New Jersey State Senate & General Assembly.
